Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria donates $1 from every pizza sold to support Fort McMurray community

Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeriahas introduced a fundraising initiative to help those affected by the wildfire in Fort McMurray, Alberta. From May 5-11, 2016, $1 from every pizza sold at all Famoso locations across Canada will be donated to theCanadian Red Cross,which is actively scaling its operations in response to the fire.
A Canadian company founded in Edmonton, Alberta, Famoso’s mission is to help their hometown community during this incredibly difficult time. Select locations are also offering extended assistance, including Famoso Red Deer, which is offering complimentary meals to all Fort McMurray residents.
As one of the leading meal provider to those in need, Guru Nanak’s Free Kitchen (GNFK) is building on last year’s successful Toy Drive for Those in Need. In 2013, over 1,770 new toys were delivered to schools with low income families as well as aboriginal groups in the Lower Mainland.
