Will Ferrell Gets Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Darpan News Desk IANS, 25 Mar, 2015 11:43 AM
ctor Will Ferrell has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

At the unveiling ceremony on Tuesday, he was joined by his wife Viveca Paulin and their three sons as well as his friends and co-stars including actors Kevin Hart, Molly Shannon and John C. Reilly, reports aceshowbiz.com.

The 47-year-old thanked his fans and cracked a joke during his acceptance speech.

"It goes without saying that I feel so fortunate, and yet I can't accept this award. So just cover it up, cover it up for someone else," Ferrell joked.

"I not only accept it, but I will be here every day from 3 to 5 P.M. polishing the star. You can count on that. And on those days that John's in the neighborhood, he will help me as well," he added.

Actor Reilly said: "Maybe some day, in 50 years, people will look down on the sidewalk and say the things that we say today about some of these people, 'Who the f**k is this guy?' But I hope not. This man is deserving of all the praise we give him today."
