Actor Tom Hanks thinks his buttock is "a beautiful thing to behold".
The 60-year-old can't get enough of the sight of his rear in the 1994 movie "Forrest Gump" in which he plays the titular character, especially in one particular scene that sees him running away from the camera in fitted beige trousers, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"I had worked out quite a bit, it was all about running and I must say my buttocks, as Forrest would say, were as firm as tinned hams," Hanks said on a chat show.
Hanks also says that over 20 years later, his wife Rita Wilson, whom he married in 1988, still insists on watching the scene every time the movie is on television because she loves to stare at "that fine Hank's a**".
"I've seen the movie and every now and again when it comes on the cable [TV] my wife will say 'Let's just leave it here honey, I just want to see that one scene where you're running away from the camera and we can look at that fine Hank's a**!'," he said.
And it isn't just his wife who enjoys the view, as Hanks himself says that although his perky posterior isn't "there any more", he thinks he looked great in the movie.
He said: "It's not there any more, but in the day man it was... I mean I must say even I think it's a beautiful thing to behold."
