Singer Taylor Swift will not be performing at Sunday's Grammy Awards as she is too busy focussing on her '1989' World Tour.
"Since my whole life is wrapped up and entangled in the planning of the '1989' World Tour right now, I'm not going to be performing on the Grammys this year. I need this time to focus only on the tour," she shared on microblogging platform Tumblr Monday, reports eonline.com.
However, while Swift may not be singing any of her hits on the Grammy stage, she guarantees plenty of dancing in the aisles at the Staples Center, in Los Angeles, where the awards ceremony will be held Feb 8.
"I'm really excited to be nominated for three Grammys this year and even more excited that I'll be there having a dance party/rage fest in the audience. I will also be presenting the award for Best New Artist (sic)," she shared with fans on micro-blogging website Twitter.
"I hope I'll see you out there at one of the stadiums this summer having a rage fest of your own!" she concluded.
It was in November 2014 that Swift had announced her '1989' tour that kicks off in Louisiana this May. The show will hit North America and Europe before heading to Australia in December. Just last weekend, the "Blank Space" singer announced that LA pop rock band Haim would be joining the show on select dates as special guest.
"The girls and I got to talking and I'm overjoyed to announce that @HAIMtheband will be joining The 1989 World Tour!! TOURING W/ SQUAD YESSSS (sic)," she had tweeted.
