Steve Harvey makes fun of his Miss Universe gaffe

Darpan News Desk IANS, 26 Dec, 2015 01:57 PM
TV host and comedian Steve Harvey, who made headlines after he mistakenly announced the wrong contestant as Miss Universe 2015 winner, made fun of his embarrassing blunder, wishing his fans “merry Easter” on Christmas.

The message came with a photograph of the 58-year-old smoking a cigar while making a peace sign with his hand, reports aceshowbiz.com.

"Merry Easter y'all!" he wrote alongside decorated Christmas tree emojis.

Harvey made headlines last week after he mistakenly gave the Miss Universe crown to Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez-Arevalo while Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was the actual winner.

Following the incident, he apologised multiple times but the internet seemingly still enjoys making fun of the "Family Feud" host in numerous memes that have landed online in the past few days.

Despite the gaffe, Harvey is expected to return to next year's Miss Universe.
