Singer Mel B has revealed that the Spice Girls have been forced to push their 20th anniversary plans to 2017.
Some members of the all-female music group -- which includes Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham -- were hoping to reunite this year to mark two decades since the release of their debut album, but they have now been forced to shelve their plans until next year, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"It is our 20th anniversary this year. This would be the perfect year but places get booked out, so what we are hopefully doing is planning on doing something to celebrate next year," she said on American talk show "Live With Kelly".
"It is something that we want to do and it would be nice to celebrate and give thanks to all the fans. I'm not getting any younger. Let's hurry up and get this done," she added.
