Sean Penn quits smoking for Charlize Theron

Darpan News Desk IANS, 21 Mar, 2015 03:32 PM
  • Sean Penn quits smoking for Charlize Theron
Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn has reportedly quit smoking to please his fiancee and actress Charlize Theron.

According to Radar Online, Penn gave up the habit after Theron asked him not to smoke around her adopted son Jackson, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"Sean had been a very heavy smoker for years. After dating Charlize for just a few months, he decided to give it up. Charlize hadn't pressed the issue, but just asked him to abstain whenever he was around her son, Jackson. One day, Sean just announced he wasn't going to be smoking anymore," a source said.

The 54-year-old actor, who has been dating Theron since 2013, wants to be "the healthiest version of himself" for his ladylove.

"Sean told Charlize he was quitting because he wanted to be the healthiest version of himself for their little family. He is absolutely head over heels in love with Charlize," the source added.

Meanwhile, Penn is also in the process of adopting Jackson and is expected to walk down the altar with the actress this year.
