  • Rupert Grint set for Broadway debut
“Harry Potter” actor Rupert Grint is set to star as Frank Finger in “It's Only a Play”.
 
Grint, known for playing Ron Weasley in the "Harry Potter" film franchise, will be seen on the New York City stage with Terrence McNally's comedy, reports contactmusic.com.
 
The 25 year-old will join an ensemble cast that includes Matthew Broderick, Nathan Lane, Stockard Channing, Megan Mullally, F. Murrary Abraham and Micah Stock.
 
Jack O'Brien is set to direct the stage production, which will only be open for 17 weeks at Broadway's Schoenfeld Theatre, premiering Oct 9.
