Grammy-winning Indian artist Ricky Kej, who won two Zone Music Reporter (ZMR) Awards at New Orleans, US and two South African Music Awards (SAMA) in South Africa for "Winds of Samsara" album, says he is grateful to each person who has listened to his music across the globe.
Kej won Album of the Year and Best World Album at the ZMR Awards held early this month. He also went on to win the coveted Producer of the Year at the SAMA held in April. He also bagged the Best Contemporary Instrumental Album.
“It is absolutely humbling and thrilling to see all this recognition and accolades that I am continuing to receive for ‘Winds of Samsara’ from different parts of the world.
"This is very encouraging and fills me with extreme enthusiasm to continue to make music from the heart and I pledge to do so. I am truly grateful to everyone from every country who have listened to me and felt my music," Kej said in a statement.
Kej's collaborated album with South African musician Wouter Kellerman "Winds Of Samsara" had won the Best New Age Album trophy at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.
