Penelope Cruz Takes Offence About Her 'Ugly Feet'

Darpan News Desk IANS, 12 Feb, 2016 01:02 PM
Actress Penelope Cruz takes offence after her 'ugly feet' are brought up during an interview.

Presenter Savannah Guthrie wasn't aware it was a touchy subject when she interviewed the actress during an episode of "Today" on Wednesday, reports mirror.co.uk.

The chat started off with Guthrie asking Cruz about her role in "Zoolander 2".

Then the host spoke about a load of stories she'd heard about Cruz, including that she likes cutting hair.

However, she then got a little more personal.

"I don't even know how I feel about this," she began.

"I think you said it, that you, despite what you look like... you've said you have ugly feet."

Cruz wasn't impressed. She set the record straight by insisting there wasn't anything wrong with her feet.

She responded: "No, no, no, no! I haven't said that. I'm okay, I'm okay with my feet. I haven't said that."

Cruz then confessed that the only time she'd spoken about her feet was while referencing her dancing days.

She added: "When you're a ballet dancer, you lose your toenails. You get used to throwing them away. You don't even feel it anymore."
