Oprah Winfrey defends Kardashians, Jenners

  • Oprah Winfrey defends Kardashians, Jenners
Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has expressed disagreement with people who put down the Jenner-Kardashian family for being "famous for nothing".

In an interview with an Australian radio show on Monday, Winfrey defended the famous family by saying that they're really hardworking people, reports aceshowbiz.com.

"I interviewed the Kardashians maybe (around) two years ago and I couldn't believe how hard they work. People think it's just TV cameras just following you, then, you know, that's just easy. (But) to really create a reality series that looks like something actually happening, it means you have to be on all the time," Winfrey told the host.

The former host of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" recalled how tight the famous family's schedule was.

"I couldn't believe how hard they work because we were there for seven hours filming them and they were going to tape for another seven hours after I left... No matter who you are... That is work," she added.

A few days ago, during an interview on the same radio show, actress Rebel Wilson slammed the famous family for being talentless.

She had said to the hosts that she rejected a request to present an award with Kendall and Kylie Jenner at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.
