Omung Kumar begins 'Sarbjit' shooting

    “Mary Kom” fame director Omung Kumar has started shooting his next directorial venture “Sarbjit”, which stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadha.
     
    The film is based on Sarabjit Singh, an Indian farmer who was convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan and was sentenced to death. He was attacked by inmates at a prison in Lahore in April 2013 and died a few days later.
     
    Omung took to Twitter on Monday to share the news with his fans.
     
    “#SARBJIT shoot starts today @Vanita_ok #AishwaryaRai @RandeepHooda @RichaChadha_ @DarshanKumaar @SandeepsinghOne,” he tweeted.
