Nude 'Titanic' portrait still haunts Kate Winslet

Darpan News Desk IANS, 14 Apr, 2014 03:00 PM
Actress Kate Winslet says her nude portrait in "Titanic" still haunts her and she refuses to autograph a copy of it.

In the James Cameron directed 1997 blockbuster, she lay down naked on a sofa while actor and co-star Leonardo DiCaprio sketched her portrait, reports mirror.co.uk.

Fans still ask her to sign copies of the nude picture, said to have been drawn by Cameron.

The 38-year-old actress said: “I don’t sign that one. It feels very uncomfortable. Why would you do that? People ask me to sign that one a lot, and actually there’s a photo of it as well that someone’s lifted from a still of the film."

“That photo gets passed around. It’s like, ‘No, I didn’t mean for it to be a photograph that I would end up seeing 17 years later. It is still haunting me. It's quite funny, really," Winslet added.
