Actress Naomi Watts has spoken out in defence of Renee Zellweger, saying getting older is no easy task.
The 46-year-old who graces the cover of Britain's InStyle magazine's February issue, admits she would never rule out having cosmetic surgery at some point down the line, reports dailymail.co.uk.
“I don't have any judgement about (plastic surgery); whoever makes that choice, that's fine,” Watts said.
“It's not easy watching yourself get older, but when I look at two women in their fifties or sixties or seventies side by side, one who's had surgery and one who hasn't, I think one likes themselves a lot more and one looks more dignified and graceful."
“And I hope I get to stay being that woman. But I would never say 'never',” she added.
Watts said she was shocked when Zellweger was criticised after she displayed an astonishingly different look on the red carpet at the 2014 Elle Women in Hollywood Celebration in October.
“(The backlash) was cruel and unnecessary. I saw a picture and I thought she looked great! She looked amazing! Leave her alone! You can't win, can you?” she said.
