Singer Courtney Love, who recently turned 50, has branded her upcoming memoir "a disaster".
The “Hole” star has been penning the gritty details of her life story but the project's initial release date of 2013 has repeatedly been postponed.
Now she has revealed she never wanted to work on the book in the first place, and she refused to tell all about her recent years because she wanted to retain some privacy, reports rollingstone.com.
"It's a disaster. A nightmare. (It is) just not working... (I) never wanted to write a book in my entire life. It just sort of happened... It has to stop. What happens from 2006 on in the book is my personal business. I've been discreet from that time on, and I want to keep it that way,” she said.
The memoir, titled "Girl With The Most Cake", is expected to chronicle Love's battle with drugs and her doomed marriage to tragic Nirvana rocker Kurt Cobain. Its release date is yet to be confirmed.
