Ahead of Father's Day, which falls on Sunday, Bollywood actor-producer John Abraham has said his father is a "super guy", who has taught him a lot.
 
Abraham was the special guest at a Johnny Walker Date with Dad event here.
 
He said: "My father said 'Believe in yourself because there is nothing else that can get you through. There will always be people, who will speak good about you and there will be people, who will speak bad about you, but don’t hold anybody in disrespect'."
 
John, who shares a love for football with his dad, says it's important to give importance to one's parents.
 
“My father is a super guy, We watch football games together, but some day I would like to take my dad to a live game, somewhere in Europe," he said.
