Actress Jessica Albasays becoming a mother was one of the most "risky" things she has ever done.
The 33-year-old, who has daughters Honor, 6, and Haven, 3, with husband Cash Warren, says it was difficult to take some time away from her Hollywood career in favour of starting a family when she was 28, reports contactmusic.com.
Asked about some of the most daring things she has done in life, she said: "Even becoming a mother was risky. It meant cooling off from this business, which was all I had known my entire life. I had to peace-out at 28, completely shift my priorities, and not be apologetic and not care about the consequences".
But Alba, who has an eco-friendly brand The Honest Company, believes she changed a lot when she turned 30 in 2011.
"After I turned 30, I became more daring as a woman. Having a successful company had a hand in that. I've set my priorities in a different place, with my children and my family. I dared to look at projects outside of Hollywood, and I'm so happy that I did.
"I want to be daring. I want to be innovative. I want to disrupt the marketplace. I want to show that there's a better, cleaner way to live our lives," she added.
