Miley Cyrus Misses Performance

Darpan News Desk IANS, 07 Jan, 2016 12:28 PM
Singer Miley Cyrus, who was scheduled to perform at singer-songwriter Linda Perry's party here this week, ended up giving it a miss as she continued to spend time in Australia with ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth.

The party was held in honour of "Hands of love", the gay rights anthem written by Perry and recorded by Cyrus for the film "Freeheld".

Perry herself announced that her collaborator couldn't show up because she's still in Australia, reports eonline.com.

Despite Cyrus' absence, the show continued as planned with performances from Perry, Courtney Love, Juliette Lewis, The Cult's Ian Asbury and Christina Aguilera.

The "Wrecking ball" hitmaker was reportedly spotted kissing with Hemsworth at the Falls Festival in Byron Bay, New South Wales in Australia earlier this week.
