Darpan News Desk IANS, 02 Jan, 2015 02:28 PM
  • Mel B Celebrates New Year With Family
Singer Mel B has made a sprightly start in 2015 after ushering in the New Year with husband Stephen Belafonte and children.

The 39-year-old posted a photograph on social media of herself Thursday alongside seven-year-old Angel, whose father is Hollywood funny man Eddie Murphy, and three-year-old Madison, her only child with Belafonte, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Mel’s 15-year-old daughter Phoenix Chi, whose father is dancer Jimmy Gulzar, was absent from the photograph.

“Good morning ma peeps of 2015,bring it on!!” Mel B captioned the photograph.

The upbeat message comes shortly after intense speculation regarding the state of her seven-year marriage to Belafonte, during which he denied rumours that he had hit her.

Despite the simmering controversy, Belafonte made sure that everyone was aware that things between the pair were fine on New Year's Eve, posting a picture of them together and calling Mel his “baby.”

“Nye 2015 with my baby @officialmelb and one of my best buddies and his lovley wife!! #bigdogstatus,” he wrote.
