Mark Ruffalo joins protest against Donald Trump

IANS, 10 Nov, 2016 10:58 AM
Actor Mark Ruffalo has joined the Donald Trump protest on the streets here.

The 48-year-old actor took part in a public demonstration against the new American President alongside a number of disgruntled people following the US presidential election, which saw the Republican take victory over the Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The actor shared a clip of himself surrounded by several protesters outside Trump Tower here, on his Instagram account on Thursday.

He captioned the post: "Love Trumps hate love fest NYC, thousands in the street".

The "Spotlight" actor also tweeted that he is against the "hate Trump elicits".

"This is what we were out protesting tonight. It's the hate Trump elicits from his followers. Trump protest," he posted.

Ruffalo isn't the only one to be in support of the protests as singers like Madonna, Lady Gaga and Cher are also backing campaigns against Trump.
