Darpan News Desk IANS, 03 Oct, 2016 12:52 PM
  • Lindsay Lohan 'Almost Lost' Her Finger In Boating Accident
Actress Lindsay Lohan underwent emergency operation on her ring finger after part of it was injured in a boating accident off the Turkish seaboard.

On Sunday, the 30-year-old attempted to lift the heavy anchor of the vessel she was on, when she got tangled up in the rope and got into the water, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Lohan attempted to free herself of the anchor ropes when the heavy boating machinery seared into her ring finger.

Her boating partners scrambled when they found her injured and later she was taken to an emergency room, where a surgical procedure was performed.

She shared an image of the injury on her Snapchat account, and said: "I almost lost my finger from the anchor. Well, I lost half my finger, thank goodness we found the piece of my finger… I just had surgery to fix it… it hurts so bad."

In the image, Lohan can be seen holding out her mangled hand, with her ring finger wrapped in band-aid.
