Lee Ryan apologises for naked rampage

Darpan News Desk IANS, 20 Aug, 2014 07:14 AM
  • Lee Ryan apologises for naked rampage
British pop star Lee Ryan has issued an apology after his recent fun night out got out of hand.

The Blue band member is reported to have stripped off all his clothes and danced around naked in front of other guests during a night out at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow Sunday, reports contactmusic.com.

"You don't expect somebody to start stripping naked in front of you, especially someone who's famous... His people got round him and hustled him away.

"Alcohol was certainly involved, he was absolutely blazing (drunk). He was making an a** of himself and didn't care," said a source.

A spokeswoman for Ryan said: "It goes without saying he is extremely shame-faced after a fun night out got out of hand.

A representative for Blue added: "Lee apologises for any upset and inconvenience caused."

The incident comes just three months after the 30-year-old was fined and banned from the roads for two years after pleading guilty to criminal damage and failing to co-operate during a drink-driving arrest.

He was accused of drunkenly yelling at police officers during the traffic stop in April and of urinating in his cell after he was detained.
