  • Kylie Jenner Defends Her 'Blackface' Images
Reality TV star Kylie Jenner has asked people to "calm down", while addressing backlash on her new photographs from a shoot that showed her flaunting a 'blackface'.

The 17-year-old posted on Instagram some images that showed her wearing dark, shimmering makeup that constitutes the 'blackface', reports aceshowbiz.com.

The photographs ignited criticism that put the youngest Jenner in trouble. After deleting some of the controversial photographs, Kylie responded to the backlash in one of the images, saying: "This is a black light and neon lights people lets all calm down."

She also posted a new image of herself sporting the same look and gave credit to her beauty team.

Kylie also fired back at critics via Twitter, where she posted: "So just got the time to head on social media lol... The photographer used a black light & neon lights for those photos."
