Kylie Jenner, Amandla Stenberg Get Into Online Feud

Darpan News Desk IANS, 13 Jul, 2015 11:42 AM
TV personality Kylie Jenner got into a brief social media war with actress Amandla Stenberg over the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star's new cornrows hairstyle.

The feud broke shortly after Kylie shared a photograph of herself on Instagram with her hair in cornrows alongside a caption that read, "I woke up like disss".

After learning of Kylie's new photograph, the star of "The Hunger Games" slammed Kylie on the comment section, reports aceshowbiz.com.

"When u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter," Stenberg was quoted as saying.

The 17-year-old replied to the comment by writing: "@amandlastenberg Mad if I don't, Mad if I do.... Go hang w Jaden or something." Kylie referred to her mutual friend and once rumoured boyfriend Jaden Smith whom Amandla took to prom back in May.

Kylie's new cornrows hairdo came only days after she coloured her hair icy blue and debuted it at Bellami Beauty Bar.
