Actor Kunal Kapoor says he wants to be part of projects which have recall value due to "direction, writing, cinematography and performances".

"As an actor, I always look for inspiration to do something innovative each time I go in front of the camera. I want to be a part of movies that define cinema and demand repeat viewing for the sheer quality of direction, writing, cinematography and performances," Kunal said in a statement.

The actor, who has been featured in films like "Rang De Basanti", "Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities", "Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana" and "Dear Zindagi", has associated with MN+ channel, which is known for showing Hollywood classics. They are launching a film festival ‘Talking Films' from Monday, and Kunal will be seen sharing his ideas and inspirations under the association.

He says he was impressed with this idea of showcasing Hollywood masterpieces.

"I feel we should encourage cinema lovers to develop a deeper understanding and love for the art of cinema. I'm personally a big fan of some of the movies that are going to be aired like ‘Life is Beautiful', ‘Theory of Everything', ‘Creed', ‘Goodwill Hunting', ‘Boyhood' and ‘Interstellar', to name a few," Kunal added.

Talking about his inspiration, Kunal said: "When I was growing up, my favourite actors were Jerry Lewis and Kishore Kumar. I used to watch their films over and over again."
