Pop star Lady Gaga believes singer Kesha is being "publicly shamed" after a court failed to allow her to leave her recording contract over allegations that she has been sexually assaulted by producer Dr. Luke.
After a judge last month refused to release Kesha from her contract with Luke's Kemosabe Records, which is a subsidiary of Sony Music, a number of fellow musicians showed support to Kesha on social media. Gaga is one of them.
"I think that people should just know that there's so much more than what meets the eye in a case like that,” said Gaga, reports eonline.com
"I feel like she's being very publicly shamed for something that happens in the music industry all the time, to women and men. I just want to stand by her side because I can't watch another woman that went through what I've been through suffer,” she added.
