  • Katy Perry gets Kris Jenner-inspired pixie hairdo
Singer Katy Perry has cut her hair into a dark pixie hairstyle to look like reality TV star Kris Jenner.

The “Hot and Cold” hitmaker debuted the drastic dark pixie cut on her Instagram page, revealing she asked her hairdresser to make her look like 59-year-old Jenner, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Alongside a photograph of her new hairdo and emojis of scissors and baseball caps, she wrote: "I asked for the Kris Jenner."

Her new hairstyle has even gained the approval of the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star, who Perry was spotted hanging out with at a Karl Lagerfeld boat party in New York on Monday.

Jenner reposted the photograph on her own account, calling Perry a "gorgeous beautiful girl".

She wrote: "LOL I love you! You look gorgeous beautiful girl!!! #stunning #sexy #eyesareamazing #Repost (sic)"

The new hairdo comes less than a week after the chart-topper revealed she is currently rocking black locks because she is in "mourning" for her 'The Prismatic World Tour', which will end later this year after a run of 17 months.
