Rapper Kanye West has donated $133,000, a part of the proceeds from his Louis Vuitton Foundation concerts, to Chicago-based arts institution Donda's House.
The institute, which he co-founded in 2013 in honour of his mother Donda West, provides youths with artistic direction through various classes and programmes including creative writing, record producing and health education, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Donda's House executive director, Donnie Smith, said that Kanye's contribution to the centre -- which caters to budding artists between 14 and 24 years of age -- will help improve their "capacity with new staff as we deliver the high quality arts programming that our participants deserve".
