Jon Hamm, Jennifer Westfeldt Split After 16 Years?

IANS, 09 Jul, 2015 11:56 AM
  • Jon Hamm, Jennifer Westfeldt Split After 16 Years?
Hollywood couple Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt have reportedly broken up after 16 years of dating. The couple decided to separate because Hamm declined to have a committed relationship with Westfeldt.

According to Star Magazine, the duo haven't been photographed together since January, before the 44-year-old actor entered a 30-day rehabilitation program for alcohol abuse. But it wasn't his addiction that caused the split. Instead, it is his reluctance to have a baby with Westfeldt that played havoc on their relationship, reports aceshowbiz.com.

“The relationship just ran its course. Jennifer realised that she and Jon don't want the same things. So they agreed that it was time to take a step back,” the magazine quoted a source as saying.

Back in 2012, Hamm said he wouldn't rule out having children and being in a committed relationship.

“I don't have a driving force to have a baby. That said, I'm in a committed relationship, and if it ever came up, I'm not ruling it out," he had said.

The duo's representatives haven't commented on the report yet.
