Jimmy Kimmel is reportedly in negotiations to host this year's Emmy Awards.
 
It would mark the second time Kimmel would host the Emmy ceremony. His first round was back in 2012, reports variety.com. 
 
He is also the creator and host of the American late-night talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". 
 
He’s also emceed numerous awards shows and industry gatherings, including the ESPY Awards, the American Music Awards and the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. 
 
This year’s Emmys will again originate from downtown Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater. The Television Academy has yet to specify the date beyond September.
 
The 68th Primetime Emmy Awards will be simulcast in India on Star World, Star World HD, FX and Star World Premiere HD.
