Jessie J doesn't feel 'appreciated' in Britain

Darpan News Desk IANS, 25 Aug, 2014 07:25 AM
  • Jessie J doesn't feel 'appreciated' in Britain
British singer Jessie J is moving to the US because she believes they respect her talent more over there than in her homeland.

The "Domino" hitmaker has sold her house here and is shifting to Los Angeles, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"In America, they see me as a singer, whereas here I feel that people don't appreciate my voice. I've dedicated my life to singing and I want it to be taken seriously," she said.

"Here it seems that all people want to know is what I've had for breakfast and who I'm sleeping with," she added.

Jessie J, who came out as bisexual in 2011, is often asked questions about her sexuality and she admits she sometimes feels she divulges too much information about her personal life.

"Sometimes I don't know when to stop. Sometimes I should just say nothing, but I can't help myself and make some big statement when saying nothing would be much more appropriate," she said.
