Pop star Jennifer Lopez sought inspiration from singer Cher and actress-singer Barbra Streisand for her costumes for her show here.
The "On the floor" hitmaker kicked off her new show, "Jennifer Lopez: All I Have", at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino here on Wednesday and she looked to the veteran entertainers for ideas when coming up with her outfits, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"I've come up with some incredible costumes that will remind people of what Cher or Barbra Streisand wore when they performed. It's like a fantasy world for me," Lopez told HELLO! magazine.
She explained before the first show took place: "I'm very excited about it. We're going to have some fantastic dance numbers and it's going to be a really high-energy show.
"My idea is for it to make it a kind of Bronx-style block party where you make the audience feel like jumping out of their seats," she added.
Despite spending several years in the music industry, Lopez still gets a thrill from performing.
"When I'm on stage, I have this incredible sensation of feeling the energy and love that comes from the audience. Having the chance to express yourself and be creative is the most wonderful feeling," she added.
