Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez has admitted she sometimes has to educate her children Max and Emme because her globe-trotting career means they miss a lot of school.
The "On the floor" hitmaker -- who currently has a residency at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino -- said "homeschool" is great for her eight-year-old twins, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"They are super happy, well-adjusted, loving, caring kids, and that's the most important thing. We wll get them educated. Homeschool is great for them when we have to do it," Lopez told Fox 5 channel.
"The most important thing is that they are with their mother -- that they don't feel abandoned by a parent," she aded.
The 46-year-old star receives a lot of criticism for the way she has chosen to raise her children -- whose father is her ex-husband Marc Anthony -- but she said that she has found a way to block out the negative comments.
"Everybody's like, 'You should have them in school. They need friends.' It can drive you crazy," she said.
However, Lopez understands that she and her kids will never have a "normal life" because she is constantly on the road due to her career.
"I am not normal, so our life is not normal. I have come to terms with that. I want to be there with them. I don't want to miss it. It is going to go so fast," she said.
