Jada Smith talks about ignoring 'ridiculous' rumours

Darpan News Desk IANS, 04 Aug, 2014 08:04 AM
  • Jada Smith talks about ignoring 'ridiculous' rumours
Actress Jada Pinkett Smith, who has dealt with rumours, says the best way to combat them is to focus on the truth.

"The coping technique is knowing what the truth is - there's no better technique," she was quoted by people.com as saying.

Smith has brushed aside reports of marital infidelities and rumours of an open marriage with husband Will Smith.

"And then you look back at it and look at how creative people can be, and it's kind of entertaining. We can laugh because it's so ridiculous," said the 42-year-old.

Smith fought the rumours about her daughter, Willow, who posted an Instagram photo of herself and shirtless 20-year-old actor Moises Arias lying in bed, tabloids called the picture into question. She defended her daughter, by saying the situation was an innocent one, and seeing the photo as sexual (the two were not touching) is a projection.
