Singer Kelly Clarkson regularly enjoys a glass of red wine but believes she is "too old" to get drunk.
The 32-year-old singer, who has eight-month-old daughter River with husband Brandon Blackstock and is stepmother to his children Savannah, 13, and eight-year-old Seth, says she gets intoxicated quickly but tries not to do so very frequently any more, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"I've not been drunk in a very long time. It doesn't take many drinks for me. I'm more that girl who has a glass or two of red wine. I think I'm getting too old to get drunk. That's something you do in your 20s," Clarkson told Heat magazine.
The "Heartbeat song" hitmaker admits it is easy to spot when she has drunk one glass too many.
"You can tell (I'm drunk) because my eyes get real squinty and I laugh a lot."
Despite her love of red wine, she admits it has its drawbacks.
"I'm not a real white wine drinker anymore, I'm more of a red drinker, which can be rough since your teeth get stained and I have, like, purple teeth when I'm on stage. It's not very becoming."
