I Don't Think Too Much About Style, Fashion: Athiya Shetty

Darpan News Desk IANS, 23 Mar, 2016 11:33 AM
  • I Don't Think Too Much About Style, Fashion: Athiya Shetty
"Hero" actress Athiya Shetty, who has been appreciated for her fashion sense, says she just wears what she likes and doesn't think too much about style or fashion.

"I don't think too much about style and fashion, I just wear what I like," Athiya said at the launch of Nishika Lulla's Preview & Unveiled Collection.

Athiya has drawn comparison to another fashionista, Sonam Kapoor. Asked by the media about it, she said that nobody can be compared to Sonam.

She also said she felt "surreal" to be considered a fashionista among the younger lot.

About any fashion tips she would like to give young girls, she said: "You should feel comfortable in what you're wearing and you should dress according to your body type and don't think too much.

"I think fashion is an extension of your personality. I think it's about making mistakes and learning from those mistakes. Style should always be something unique, and you should break the trends on your own, which is very important. "

About being an inspiration to people, she said: "It feels really special but the only person I can thank is my stylist Ami Patel, because she's been able to give me my own personality through my clothes and I think that's very important."

"Brands are very important, and I feel they should match your personality, and the brands that I have signed, they really match my personality."

On the festival of Holi to be celebrated on Thursday, Athiya said she usually celebrates Holi without using water and uses only colours but might not celebrate it this time.
