Hope my voice is loved by masses: Amaal Mallik

Darpan News Desk IANS, 03 Sep, 2015 01:17 PM
"Sooraj dooba hai" fame composer Amaal Mallik has made his singing debut with "O Khuda" in the forthcoming film "Hero" and the budding composer hopes that music lovers like his voice.

Mallik debuted as a composer with Salman Khan's "Jai Ho" in 2014 and has churned out chartbusters like "Naina" and "Chaar Shanivaar". Now he is hoping that "O Khuda", released on Thursday, is enjoyed by the masses.

"Salman sir always wanted the song to be larger than life yet personal. The song is composed and sung by me. It is mainly about tune and lyrics. It is a very simply orchestrated, but grand composition.

"I have kept it soft and melodious which works for the theme of the film. It has been a pleasure to debut as singer and hope my voice is loved by the masses," Mallik said in a statement.

Starring Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, "Hero" will hit the screens on September 11.
