'Hobbit' Actor Manu Bennett Arrested

     "Hobbit" actor Manu Bennett was arrested by San Antonio police for punching a 29-year-old man at a hotel. He is now out of jail.
     
    Bennett was arrested on a misdemeanour assault charge, while he attended the Alamo City Comic Con, reports variety.com.
     
    The 45-year-old was arrested on Sunday following an assault in progress call from the Grand Hyatt Hotel and was held on a $1,600 bond. However, he was released the same day, according to Bexar County Magistrate's Office records.
     
    Bennett portrayed Azog the Defiler in the "Hobbit" trilogy and the gladiator Crixus in the TV series "Spartacus". He is set to appear as Allanon in the upcoming MTV series "The Shannara Chronicles".
