Announcing the launch of the trailer of his upcoming film, actor Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to share a new poster of Excel Entertainment's 'Gold'.

 

While sharing the poster, he wrote, "One generation dreamt it, the other achieved it. #GoldTrailer out on 25th June at 10 am. GOLD TRAILER IN 3DAYS."

 

Presenting the team in action, Akshay announced that the trailer of the film would be out on June 25.

 

After showcasing the dream of Tapan Das to win free India's first gold medal with various posters, the latest poster gave a closer glimpse into the team that led the victory.

 
 

The poster features Akshay along with Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Vineet Singh, and Sunny Kaushal amongst others.

 

'Gold' traces the journey of a man dreaming to win India's first Gold in Hockey, post independence.

 

The sports drama starring Akshay takes the audience back in time to witness the struggle of a team to make the nation proud.

 

The upcoming flick will release this Independence Day, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Free India's first Gold medal at the 1948 Olympics.

 

India won its first Gold medal as an independent nation at the Olympics on the 12th of August 1948.

 

'Gold' is also the debut film of TV sensation Mouni Roy.

 

Helmed by Reema Kagti, the film is set to release on August 15.
