Gender-specific clothes shouldn't exist, feels Jaden Smith

  • Gender-specific clothes shouldn't exist, feels Jaden Smith
Actor Jaden Smith believes people should be allowed to wear whatever clothes they want, regardless of what gender they are intended for.

The 17-year-old actor regularly wears a long skirt over his skin-tight trousers and is very free with his fashion choices.

Smith, who has been selected by Karl Lagerfeld to be a new Chanel ambassador, doesn't understand why people feel they have to conform when it comes to clothes, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"I feel like people are kind of confused about gender norms. I feel like people don't really get it. I'm not saying that I get it, I'm just saying that I've never seen any distinction.

"I don't see man clothes and woman clothes, I just see scared people and comfortable people,” Smith said in an interview to GQ Style magazine.
