"Fifty Shades Darker", the highly anticipated sequel to erotic romantic drama film "Fifty Shades of Grey", has finished filming here.

Author E.L. James -- who helped with the adaptation of the film, as well as "Fifty Shades Freed", the third film of the franchise which was shot simultaneously -- shared the news on Instagram, reports eonline.com.

"And that's wrap, Vancouver," James wrote alongside a photograph of her and director James Foley.
