Singer Bobby Brown and his family and former in-laws gathered to mourn the loss of his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown at her funeral service in Georgia in the US.
According to a source, Bobby, his wife Alicia, Pat Houston and the Houston family reached the Saint James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta in black limousines at 10.15 a.m. on Saturday.
Nick Gordon, who was romantically involved with Bobbi Kristina, was not in attendance, reports usmagazine.com.
“The whole family looked grief stricken,” the source said.
Bobbi Kristina’s casket was brought in two hours before her loved ones arrived. Mayor Kasin Reed made his way into the church at 10.45 a.m.
Roads six blocks in each direction were shut down for privacy, the source added. Police were on hand to check IDs and credentials as fans lined up in the outer perimeter holding up signs.
Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston’s daughter was found unconscious and facedown in her bathtub on January 31.
She was put in a medically induced coma for nearly six months, and passed away at the age of 22 on July 26.
Bobbi Kristina’s body will next be flown to New Jersey to be buried next to her famous mother at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey.
