Ed Sheeran quits social media, focussed on travel

Darpan News Desk IANS, 14 Dec, 2015 10:46 AM
Singer Ed Sheeran has taken a break from the social media to travel the world.

Sheeran shared a note on photosharing platform Instagram, saying that he is "taking the opportunity of not having to be anywhere... to travel the world", reports mirror.co.uk.

“I’m taking a break from my phone, emails and all social media for a while. I’ve had such an amazing ride over the last five years but I find myself seeing the world through a screen and not my eyes so I’m taking this opportunity of me not having to be anywhere or do anything to travel the world and see everything I missed,” Sheeran posted.

However, stressing that he is not leaving his work, the 24-year-old also added that his third album is on its way. “It will be the best thing I have made thus far," added the “Lego House” singer, who has 16 million Twitter and 5.5 million Instagram followers.
