Actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has paid tribute to his friend and co-actor Paul Walker in a very special way.

Walker was killed in a fiery car crash in 2013.

Dwayne, who featured in “Fast & Furious 6” with Walker and is also part of the forthcoming seventh franchise of the action thriller, took to Instagram Saturday to post a short video clip that honours Walker's dedication to marine life, reports eonline.com.

"[I] Was moved to shoot this very special intro to one of Paul Walker's final missions for shark and marine conservation," Johnson wrote on Instagram.

In the video shot for Discovery's “Shark Week”, which kicks off Sunday, The Rock looks back at the actor's life both on and off screen.
