Filmmaker Peter Berg will direct a documentary based on the life of singer Rihanna for Film 45, his newly launched production company that focuses on non-scripted and branded entertainment for film, TV and other platforms.
The documentary will be titled “Rihanna”, reports dailymail.co.uk.
According to Film 45's website, the documentary will follow the "true international superstar as she navigates life as an artist, businesswoman, and humanitarian, while contending with the inherent pressure of artistic freedom."
The documentary is further described as an "unfiltered look into Rihanna's life and how she's ascended to become a global icon, providing a glimpse into the evolution of one of the world's most well known pop artists."
The Rihanna documentary has yet to have an official release date.
Berg, who previously directed Rihanna in "Battleship", earlier teased their upcoming project with a black-and-white photograph he shared on Instagram.
"This girl RiRi (Rihanna) she's not bad. See I'm smiling I ain't mad," he captioned the image of him smiling while posing next to Rihanna.
