Actor Leonardo DiCaprio has quit director Danny Boyle's Steve Jobs' biopic.
The star was the frontrunner to portray the late Apple Computer co-founder in the film adaptation of Walter Isaacson's biography but he has bowed out of the project, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
It was believed that the "Titanic" star will start with the untitled Jobs' biopic after shooting "The Revenant".
According to sources, after DiCaprio finishes "The Revenant", which began shooting this week, he plans to take a lengthy break from acting.
Actor Christian Bale now leads the producers' wish list to portray Jobs, ahead of Matt Damon and Bradley Cooper.
DiCaprio and Boyle previously worked together on "The Beach".
