Denise Richards Sues Charlie Sheen

Darpan News Desk IANS, 22 Jan, 2016 10:57 AM
Actress Denise Richards has filed legal documents claiming her ex-husband Charlie Sheen evicted her and their children from their home and sent aggressive text messages to their daughter.

The "Wild Things" actress was married to the "Anger Management" star for four years between 2002 and 2006 and she has two daughters, Sam, 11 and Lola Rose, 10 with him.

She has submitted papers in a court which claim that Sheen, 50, forced them out of a home he owns; has stopped paying into a trust fund for their children's future and called his youngest daughter a "p*g w***e".

According to documents obtained by tmz.com, the actor agreed to allow his ex-wife to move into a property he owned next to his in Mulholland Estates, Beverley Hills.

Richards, 44, claims she had reservations about the agreement because the troubled star had informed her of his HIV status and told her he feared he was terminally ill, but stated he "wanted to repair his relationship with his children".

The "World Is Not Enough" star added that Sheen's relationship with his children soured in 2013, when he threatened to give away Sam and Lola's Christmas presents and also kick the family out of their home.

In the papers filed, Richards states that Sheen texted her children and said: "I'm giving all your gifts including the air hockey table to the homeless."

According to the documents, Richards also overheard a conversation between the actor and their daughter Lola, during which he called her "a f***ing pig whore" and said "I'm going to kill you and I'm going to kill your mom".

Richards and the children moved out of the property Sheen owns in September last year and the actress asserts that they were forced out, and left out of pocket while they rented a home for $15 thousand per month.

A spokesperson for the actress has said: "Denise is fighting for her children. This has nothing to do with her, the money is for her kids. This is about him providing for the children as he agreed to do."

Meanwhile, Sheen's lawyer has released a statement that says this is a "desperate attempt to get more money".

The lawyer added that the actor has paid almost $20 million to Richards -- who also has an adopted daughter, Eloise Joni Richards, four - which includes $660 thousand in tax free money every year for the last nine years.
