Singer Courtney Love is reportedly a “huge fan” of boy band One Direction.
According to a source, the 50-year-old, who was married to late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain until his suicide in 1994, couldn't get enough of the band as they hung out together at the Saturday Night Live TV afterparty here over the weekend and was keen to take selfies with the group, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The band, which comprises Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles, is said to have equally enjoyed their sudden run into Courtney, with Louis, 22, particularly pleased about meeting “rock royalty”.
“Louis enjoyed chatting to Courtney as he's into all kinds of music and loves that she's rock royalty,” The Sun newspaper quoted a source as saying.
“Harry also chatted to her for a while. It was funny, as Courtney was clearly a huge fan and dead set on staying until she got selfies with the band,” the source added.
Following the bash, Courtney shared a photograph of herself with Louis over social media with the caption, “Good times with some great guys.”
Meanwhile, Styles was spotted enjoying himself with “Bridesmaids” actress Kristen Wiig.
The 20-year-old heartthrob was filmed dancing with the 41-year-old star to the 1987 hit “Time of my life” from the musical “Dirty Dancing” at an event on Dec 21.
