Actress Courteney Cox and musician Johnny McDaid have announced their engagement on micro-blogging site Twitter.
 
The "Friends" actress and McDaid shared the good news with their fans, each posting on Twitter "I'm engaged to him!" and "I'm engaged to her!" Thursday night, reports contactmusic.com.
 
The two have only been dating for six months and were first spotted out together in December when they attended Cox's close friend Jennifer Aniston's holiday party in Los Angeles.
