Christian Bale drops out of 'Enzo Ferrari'

Darpan News Desk IANS, 16 Jan, 2016 02:02 PM
  • Christian Bale drops out of 'Enzo Ferrari'
Actor Christian Bale has dropped out of Michael Mann’s film “Enzo Ferrari” due to health concerns.

According to sources, the reason for his exit is his concern for his health, especially as he had to gain weight for the role of the iconic car maker in the film, reports variety.com.

Bale began the weight gain process for the film as he felt it was necessary, but couldn’t safely be ready in time for spring season this year.

Mann will now work to tap a new actor to play the role as production on the film is set to start later in spring.

Production houses Vendian Entertainment and YooZoo Bliss Film Fund are financing the project, which plans to shoot this summer in Italy.
